Stralsund & Ruegen

June 19th: equipped with car and navigation we decided to take a detour on our way to Berlin. After a little bit more than a 2 hour ride we arrived at the quaint town Stralsund located at the Baltic Sea. As it is Father's Day we treated Brent to a nice North-German lunch. 
Dessert was then served on the Island of Ruegen. Windy and somewhat chilly, but nevertheless very beautiful. Having an amazing view to Stralsund we consumed a delicious iced-coffee while the kids fed themselves tons of ice-cream. After a short stroll along the Baltic shore line we headed south towards Berlin.
